GPO Recommendation
A group purchasing organization (GPO) buys on behalf of its member hospitals. Its leverage comes from bundling their purchases into larger, better-timed orders than any one hospital could place on its own.
You're advising the health system's GPO. Using your capital projection from Q5, recommend which device type to replace first, and in which year.
Task
Pick one device type and one replacement year between 2027 and 2036, and say how many units it covers. Then make the case for it, as you would to the GPO's contracting team.
There's no single right recommendation, but a good one rests on the data: how many units come due, when, and across which facilities. Explain why your pick comes before the alternatives, and what the GPO should do about it.
