- Replacement year = year of
Manufactured Date+ useful life (from Q4). - Leave out assets due before 2027 (overdue), after 2036, or with no manufactured date.
- Years outside 2027 to 2036 are ignored and listed back to you in
ignored_years. estimated_costis in today's dollars: the health system's inflation rate is 0%.
How It's Scored
| Part | Weight | What it checks |
|---|---|---|
| Schedule | 100% | F1 over (year, CEID) pairs across all ten years |
| Bonus | up to 50 extra points | Per asset: full credit within 15% of its replacement cost, none at half or double it |
The bonus is the average over every asset due in the horizon that has a replacement cost in Equiply's records. An asset you leave out, place in the wrong year, or give no estimated_cost scores zero. manufacturer and device_type aren't scored; they're read by the Equiply team.
This rule is deliberately simpler than Equiply's own capital forecast, which also adjusts useful life by risk tier and folds overdue assets into the first year. Answers are checked against the rule above, not that forecast.
What We Look For in the Report
Your report is read by the Equiply team with these points in mind. It doesn't change your score.
- method: how the replacement year was computed and how assets were assigned to years.
- data_gaps: how missing manufactured dates, missing useful lives and overdue assets were handled, and how many assets each affected.
- insights: what drives the projection: peak years, and the device types and facilities behind them.
- cost_estimate: if you estimated costs, where prices came from, how they were applied per asset and year, and how reliable they are.
