How It's Scored

The Equiply team scores Q6 by hand, out of 150 points. Your score appears on the leaderboard once it's reviewed. We look at two things:

  • Your pick, against the data: the device type and year with the most units due across the health system, and whether units matches the real count for your pick.
  • Your reasoning, against the points below.

What We Look For in the Reasoning

  • gpo_understanding: what a GPO is and what it's trying to achieve: pooling purchase volume across members for better pricing and contract terms.
  • volume_and_timing: the recommendation rests on the data: which device type has the most units due, in which year, across which facilities, with numbers.
  • reasoning: why that choice comes first: purchase size, standardizing on fewer models, the risk of keeping old equipment, budget timing, and trade-offs against the alternatives.
  • actionability: a concrete plan: what to buy, roughly how many, by when, and how to approach vendors or contracts.
